Update: The production has resumed this morning, Friday 21st January. New NetCDF products are now being produced for both new Sentinel products and for those acquired during the incident. 

Update: Incident is still ongoing and is expected to last at least until Friday 21st. 

A hardware failure occured in our computing room on Saturday 15th January at 11 am UTC. As a consequence, we have been unable to create new NetCDF products for satellittdata.no. Older products are not impacted by the failure and are available as usual.

There are now two portals available to access Sentinel data in SAFE format.

• colhub.met.no portal holds a 30-days rolling archive of the latest global Sentinel products (S1, S2 L1C, S2 L1C DTERR, S2 L2A, S3 and S5p)
• colhub-archive.met.no portal holds Sentinel products over the Norwegian area of interest only, both historical and real-time data

So users only interested in data over Norway could only use colhub-archive portal.

Copernicus Sentinel-1B is unavailable since 23 December 2021 at 06:53 UTC, no data are being generated. ESA is working hard to restore operations and provides regular status updates. These are linked below:

The colhub upgrade announced earlier is still ongoing. As a consequence:

• colhub.met.no portal holds only a 15-days rolling archive of all the latest Sentinel products (S1, S2, S3 and S5p)
• older data is currently not available

We are currently working on building and populating an archive portal that will hold all the Sentinel data over the Norwegian area of interest, both latest and historical data.
