On November 11th, an email was erroneously sent to all active users of satellittdata.no through the staging site (nbs-staging.met.no). The staging site is used to test deployment of new functionality, developments of new services and upgrades of the system. It is supposed to mirror the behaviour of the operational site.

During this incident the full user catalogue was available in the staging environment and this caused the erroneous email sending. This will be fixed before further testing. There is no need for users to take any action, please ignore the email received. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Active users on satellittdata.no will continue to operate normally.
